SimCity is a reboot of the SimCity series by Maxis. It was confirmed at GDC 2012 for Februar 2013 release date (Later changed to March), and in the trailer its name is shown as simply, "SimCity". The game will bring back the zoning feature, as well as new mutiplayer mode where a group of cities work together or compete in a online region. Curved roads also make their first appearance into the franchise.SimCity will use the new GlassBox engine. The Glass Box engine is a simulation engine designed by EA/Maxis, which creates simulation agents for each element (coal, power, workers, etc.) and ties animations directly to agent activity. For example, one units behavior, such as moving into a new home and blocking the street with a moving van, could ripple out and cause a traffic jam, that in turn delays the response time of a firetruck attempting to put out a fire, which results in a swath of your city burning. Installation
Unpack this release and make sure the folder name is "SIMCITY" without the "".Copy the files in the "SimCity DRMLESS Beta Update 1.5" folder to the main SIMCITY folder.
When asked to overwrite existing files choose Yes.
Delete stunnel folder and stop.exe file.
Go into the extra folder and run the Electronic Arts, Inc CA.crt file.
Click on Install Certificate and press Next.
Then pick the Place all certificates in the following store option and press Browse.
Select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities option and click OK.
Now press Next and finish. If you get an error select Yes.
Replace Your Hosts file with the one Provided in the Extras Folder. You can find your hosts file in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\
Install Origin from the extra folder and when it's finished installing run the start.exe file in the main SIMCITY folder.
Click on Start Server and wait for the message to show you that "everything sounds fine"
Start Origin that you just installed with any username and password you want.
Click on My Games, select SimCity and click on Download in the yellow/orange box.
From here on it's easy, wait for it to download and then click Play.
